Governance

The Governance of the Trust is in the hands of a Board of Trustees which meets formally as a Board four times a year. Trustees also serve on Sub Committees – Policy and Personnel – which give advice and support to the Director and the Board. In addition, the Finance Committee oversee and report to the Board on financial reporting processes, the accounting and control systems and the external and internal audit functions.

The day-to-day running of the Trust is the responsibility of the Director who provides the Board with detailed reports on all aspects of the programme, highlighting risk management, in advance of each Board meeting. The Director is responsible to the Board for strategic leadership, vision, content and quality assurance for all aspects of the company’s work.
